Job placement rate tracking aligns with Goal 3 of the priority area for Student Success of the 2015-2025 Strategic Plan for Chattanooga State Community College (ChSCC). The job placement rate displayed is defined by Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) as the total number of graduates working full-time in any of the four quarters of the year after graduation divided by the total number of graduates engaged in the Tennessee Job Market. The Tennessee Job Market includes graduates employed full-time and those approved for unemployment insurance. The target of 97% placement rate is the minimum rate to be awarded maximum points for THEC Quality Assurance Funding. Sources for the data include the annual THEC Fact Book.
